River Teeth: A Journal of Nonfiction Narrative accepts creative nonfiction submissions to the journal September 1 through December 1 and January 1 through April 1. Submissions to the Beautiful Things weekly online magazine are open during this same time period. We're grateful for the opportunity to read your best true stories, big and small.
The River Teeth Literary Nonfiction Book Prize is open for submissions August 1 through October 31 every year.
River Teeth does not have a page length or word count limit. Please wait to submit another essay for consideration until a decision has been made on your first submission. Editors try to respond within three to six months, but the review process sometimes takes longer.
